There’s something tender about the space in-between —
where we’re not quite who we were,
and not yet who we’re becoming.
The title holds tension between visibility and invisibility — identity as something shifting, layered, evolving. It’s soft. Still. But full of possibility.
The unseen becomes political. Personal. Poetic.
And in the becoming — there is space. Space for hope. Space for change and transformation.
I made this during one of those moments when painting felt like returning to myself. When a sense of harmony arrived on the canvas — and for a brief second, the world felt a little more balanced too.
